Fendant AOC Valais
Cultivated in Valais since 1870, Fendant is produced from a selection of Chasselas grapes, which is a 1st phase grape variety with early maturity.
Tasting notes
The typical character of the Chasselas grape variety with delicate floral notes such as lime blossoms and white flowers can be detected immediately. These aromas are delicately combined with the terroir's minerals. This is a dry, well-balanced, fresh and lively wine, an absolute pleasure for the taste buds.
Food-wine pairing
Excellent as aperitif, with savoury pastries, fish soup, shrimp and seafood salads, charcuterie/cold meats, cheese dishes (fondue, raclette), smoked and air-cured meats, white meats and Alpine cheeses.
