The Château Lichten Rouge is an original blend of three noble vines : Cornalin, Humagne Rouge and Syrah. Cornalin and Humagne Rouge are old indigenous grapes, whilst Syrah was only later planted on the best slopes of the Rhone Valley.
Tasting notes
Red colour with purple hues. A nose full of wild fruit, wild or garden berries. The attack is lively full of very present and perfectly fused tannins and a hint of acidity gives it a great freshness. A harmonious, full-bodied and well-balanced wine whose taste remains in the mouth.
Food-wine pairing
Marvellous in combination with beef and lamb grills, or even with venison - in fact, in general with any strongly flavoured meat with a generous texture.
Gold medal
Medal-winning vintage: 2022; while stocks last. The medal is not automatically present on the bottle.
