A selection of small bunches of small grapes are carefully sorted and picked from the heart of our vineyards. This cru is composed of Cornalin from the Montibeux vineyards, Humagne Rouge from the Ardévaz vineyards and Syrah from the Crêta-Plan vineyards. It is aged in large Swiss oak casks for 12 months.
Tasting notes
Deep garnet colour with velvety hues. The nose is a marvellous combination of sour cherry and blackcurrant aromas accompanied by subtle hints of sweet spices. The slightly smoky note in harmony with the aromas emphasise its complexity and balance. On the palate, the fruity taste dominates, but the supple, silky and mellow tannins render this assemblage a rich and delicate wine. The flavour of the delicately ripe red berries returns in the smooth harmonious finish.
Food-wine pairing
Excellent with tasty meats, braised beef, lamb and stews. Also delicious with game, hard and semi-hard cheeses.
