The Cœur de Domaine Brut is a delightful Valais specialty. This sparkling wine consists of the grape varieties Savagnin (Heida) and Petite Arvine. To ensure its radiant freshness and perfect bubbles, the grapes were harvested three weeks before their full ripeness. In this way, a classy and appetising sparkling wine with great vivacity can be guaranteed.
Tasting notes
Beautiful golden colour with hues of green. The nose reveals scents of citrus and exotic fruit typical of the Petite Arvine and Savagin (Heida) grape varieties. On the palate, this wine is characterised by notes of brioches and a slight perfume of butter which remind of the fermenting on fine lees. The bubbles are fine and elegant, leaving a sensation of delicacy in the mouth.
Food-wine pairing
Great with aperitifs consisting of salted puff pastry sticks, black olives and gruyere cubes. Can also be savoured with crustaceans such as crabs, lobster or crayfish. Further ideal combinations to suit this champagne-type wine are sushi, carpaccio, turkey on a dill sauce or duck magret on an orange sauce.
