Pinot Noir, from Burgundy. Officially recognised and installed by the State Council of Valais in 1848, it is the main ingredient of the Dôle.
Nose & Mouthfeel
The smoothness and the finesse of the Pinot Noir “Vin Coeur” harmonises admirably with the tannins to make this a pleasant and well structured wine, worthy of a wine with a proud history. Full-bodied with a clear and healthy taste, it has already been praised by the most demanding connoisseurs. This is a wine that can be drunk young but only reaches full maturity after 2 to 3 years in the wine cellar.
Gastronomic pairings
This subtle and lordly wine is tender and smooth, rich in aromas, it pairs well with red meats, game, poultry and cheeses. We recommend that you taste it at a temperature of 16° to 18°C.
