Petite Arvine, of Valaisan origin, first established its roots in the Fully region. It became one of the most renowned white wines among the great European terroirs. It is planted on two of the Rouvinez's vineyards. They are located on opposite sides of the winegrowing areas and therefore offer very different geological traits. This provides a unique opportunity to compare the same grape variety produced on two very different terroirs (Domaine de Château Lichten and Domaine de Les Seilles) but grown, produced and vinified by the same team.
Tasting notes
Crystal clear colour with hints of yellow. A nose of wisteria along with a subtle hint of citrus. On the palate, it has lively attack, perfect balance, richness, power and a taste of fresh fruit. The finish is long and harmonious.
Food-wine pairing
Excellent with crustaceans, sea fish, hard cheeses or simply on its own as an aperitif.
