Cornalin, which is an exclusively Valaisan product and no close or far relative is known. It grows on the best plots of land in the region and requires a great deal of care and attention all though the season. However, the beauty of this wine definitely deserves the exceptional effort.
Tasting notes
Deep red colour with purple hints. This wine releases a wealth of fruity aromas straight from the beginning. Blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry, strawberry and raspberry mix to create great aromatic intensity. On the palate, still subtle tannins combine with a marked acidity. Enjoy this wine at its best in 2 to 3 years when it reaches full maturity.
