Heida AOC Valais
Heida and Païen are Valaisan names for the Savagnin grape. This variety of the Traminer family has been present in the Valais since time immemorial. This is a 2nd phase variety.
Tasting notes
Attractive yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose evokes subtle aromas of exotic fruit, mango, green lemon and quince. On the palate, a great vivacity can be recognised, giving this wine freshness and radiance. A solid wine that can easily be stored for several years. Over time it acquires a note of roasted hazelnuts.
Food-wine pairing
Great with fish, crustaceans, seafood, but also Alpine cheeses. Can also be enjoyed with traditional Valais specialities such as a Valaisan platter or raclette.
