Heida AOC Valais
Heida or Païen, is the name the Valaisans gave to the Savagnin grape variety. It has been planted in Valais since time immemorial. A late-ripening grape variety.
Tasting
Superb yellow color with greenish reflections; on the nose, it exhales subtle aromas of exotic fruits, mango, lime, and quince. On the palate, there is a beautiful livacity that gives it freshness and brilliance. A robust wine that can easily be aged for several years. With time, it acquires notes of toasted hazelnuts.
Food pairings
Pairs wonderfully with fish, crustaceans, seafood, and also alpine cheeses. Can also be enjoyed with traditional Valais dishes: Valais plate or Raclette.
