The Gamay grape is a clonal selection created with the aim of finding the ideal match for the conditions in Valais; here it results in elegant and very aromatic wines. Having a naturally generous yield, this variety requires a strict selection to ensure that the wines are full of charm and delight.
Tasting notes
Deep consistent red colour with magnificent raspberry hues. The nose is a delicate blend of hints of burnt wood and underbrush, mixing delicately with the fruity aromas of blackberries and hazelnuts. Its intense acidity gives this wine a great liveliness and gives this Gamay a refreshing smooth character. It can be enjoyed perfectly well with all kinds of red meat dishes.
