L'ESSENTIEL À SAVOIR
Nez Noir AOC Valais Magnum
The name NEZ NOIR is inspired by our flock of sheep of the same name. Between mid-March and mid-April, we let them graze in our vineyards. This maintains the soil in perfect harmony with nature. When the vines begin to grow, our sheep rest in a meadow near Sierre, waiting to return to their original land in the High Valais at an altitude of 2,700 meters. It is with the Matterhorn as a backdrop that they will be shorn, yielding a few kilos of high-quality wool.
Tasting
The aromas of blackcurrant and perfectly ripe strawberries are enhanced by hints of sweet and delicately smoky spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, concentrated, and retains the finesse of its aromas. The finish is long and flavorful. A gourmet wine that leaves a feeling of pure bliss!
Food pairings
Veal cutlets with spices, duck breast with spices, pork tenderloin in crust, chicken in wine, summer barbecues, roast beef, beef carpaccio. Selection of alpine cheeses.
