Tasting notes
Deep garnet red color. Notes of candied prunes and sour cherries admirably mark the nose. On the palate, the attack is supple, the tannic mass is subtly enveloped by a well-present acidity that gives it a lot of freshness. A rich, full-bodied and gourmet wine.
Food pairings
Cured meats, raw ham (Valais plate), roasted partridge, quails, game terrine, stew, offal (kidneys and liver), roasted meats, pot-au-feu, cheese platter.
