ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Humagne Rouge Soleil d'Or AOC Valais
A grape variety found exclusively in Valais and the Aosta Valley, its probable place of origin. It is a rustic vine that thrives in the soils of Valais. As it is both generous and late-ripening, it is important to plant it on well-exposed south-facing plots and to limit the yield.
Tasting notes
Intense red color with brown reflections. Subtle fragrances of rosemary and thyme combined with notes of brioche and toasted bread. The attack is round and silky, and the aromas perceived on the nose are echoed on the palate. A wine of beautiful intensity with lovely velvety tannins.
Food pairings
Pheasant, duck, saddle of chamois, wild boar, goat cheese
