This blend of overripe grapes, left on the vine, is harvested late (generally in December) to achieve a natural sugar content of approximately 150° Oechsle (or 350 grams of sugar per liter of must). The Valais climate allows Marsanne, Pinot Gris, and Petite Arvine to find their place among the world's great dessert wines. The Charte Grain Noble ConfidenCiel attests to the monitoring, authenticity, and exceptional quality of this blended wine. Tasting: A dense yellow color with golden reflections; aromas of raspberry brandy, white truffle, quince, and candied fruits. On the palate, the aromas perceived on the nose are greatly enhanced, giving it magnificent complexity. A rich, unctuous, warm wine with a beautiful alcohol-acidity balance. Definitely a wine for aging. Food pairings: Ideal with pan-fried or terrine foie gras. An excellent dessert wine, it pairs well with fruit tarts; it also accompanies blue cheeses.
