ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Dôle PDO Valais
In 1857, at the Agricultural Exhibition in Bern, the first bottles of Valais Dôle were presented. This blend is an "exclusivity" of this canton.
Tasting notes
A typical Valais wine, Dôle harmoniously combines Pinot Noir and Gamay. With a raspberry red color, it reveals aromas of small red berries from the Gamay. The structure and finesse of the Pinot perfectly balance this Dôle with its refreshing acidity.
Food pairings
Braised veal knuckle, stuffed veal breast, breaded veal cutlets, fondue bourguignonne, roast chicken, rabbit with mustard, duck breast, beef fillet, cheese platter.
