The Domaine Rouvinez Family's Cœur de Domaine red is an exceptional wine crafted from a blend of Cornalin, Humagne Rouge, and Syrah, aged for 12 months in Swiss oak foudres. Deep garnet with velvet reflections, it reveals aromas of morello cherries, blackcurrant, and sweet spices on the nose, complemented by an empyreumatic touch. On the palate, fruit dominates, with supple and well-integrated tannins, offering richness, delicacy, and a long, harmonious finish.

Coeur de Domaines - Red AOC Valais

The Cœur de Domaine red embodies the prestige and excellence of the Rouvinez family. This exceptional wine comes from the best plots, where each vine is carefully cultivated to reveal the full richness of the Valais terroir.

Crafted with a precision worthy of grand crus, this wine illustrates the perfect harmony between tradition and innovation. Its meticulous vinification and barrel aging give it remarkable depth and complexity. It is a true gem, designed to captivate connoisseurs of fine wines.

The Cœur de Domaine red is ideally enjoyed on special occasions, accompanied by noble dishes such as a beef fillet, game, or aged cheeses.

Selection of small bunches with small berries, from a meticulous sorting process and originating from the heart of our estates. This cru is composed of Cornalin from the Montibeux estate, Humagne Rouge from the Ardévaz estate, and Syrah from the Crêta-Plan estate. It is aged in Swiss oak foudres for 12 months.

Tasting Notes
Deep garnet red color with velvety reflections. The nose reveals a beautiful association of sour cherry and blackcurrant aromas, accompanied by subtle notes of sweet spices. The slight empyreumatic touch, in harmony with all the aromas, accentuates the complexity and balance. On the palate, fruit dominates, with supple, chalky, and well-integrated tannins that make this wine rich and delicate. The finish, imbued with smoothness, length, and harmony, delicately returns to ripe red fruits.

Food Pairings
Accompanies flavorful meats, braised beef, lamb, and stews. Also pairs well with game. A very good companion to hard or semi-hard cheeses.
