Syrah Soleil d'Or AOC Valais
A typical Rhône varietal, Syrah finds ideal soil and climate conditions in Valais. As it is a late-ripening grape, it should be planted in very sunny locations, such as first-tier hillsides or hills. Yields must be carefully managed.
Tasting notes
Intense red color with dark reflections. Intoxicating aromas of Morello cherries and chocolate fill the nose, while on the palate it is full-bodied and vigorous yet maintains a beautiful elegance. A peppery finish recalls the typicity of this varietal.
