Domaine Rouvinez's Nez Noir Rosé is a light and fresh rosé wine, made from a blend of carefully selected grape varieties. Perfect for summer meals, aperitifs, or convivial gatherings, this rosé embodies freshness and elegance, while reflecting the authenticity of the Valais terroir.

Nose Noir Rosé - Certified organic wine

The name NEZ NOIR is inspired by our flock of sheep of the same name. Between mid-March and mid-April, we let them graze in our vineyards. The soil is thus maintained in perfect harmony with nature. When the vines begin to grow, our sheep rest on a meadow near Sierre while waiting to return to their original land in the Upper Valais at an altitude of 2,700 m. It is facing the Matterhorn that they will be shorn, yielding a few kilos of high-quality wool.

The Nez Noir rosé is produced by bleeding the must used for its red counterpart. This operation consists of racking off a portion of the must to concentrate the red wine. The racked volume is vinified separately and gives rise to a fresh and fruity rosé wine.

Tasting
From the outset, we are dazzled by its brilliance; a brilliant lychee shell pink color.
On the nose, it delivers scents of wild berries like raspberry and strawberry. They are delicately coated with exotic notes such as mango or passion fruit.
On the palate, it offers remarkable freshness. The texture is incredibly fine, and the fruity aromas detected on the nose are delightfully recognizable. A wine of great breadth, smooth, savory, and with a delicious persistence.

Food pairings
We suggest pairing it with a Thai salad, red curry prawn papillotes, caramel pork, saffron scallops, or grilled salmon. Pairing it with goat cheese is a pure delight. And of course, it'll always be a great accompaniment to your appetizers.
