Dôle is a typical Valais wine and contrary to popular belief, it is not a grape variety but rather the result of a harmonious blend of Pinot, Gamay, and other red Valais specialties.
Tasting notes
A deep raspberry red color, with dominant fruity notes of cherry and prune. The freshness of Gamay blends wonderfully with the full-bodied power of Pinot Noir. The whole is balanced, distinguished, with a pleasant acidity.
Food pairings
Pairs well with poultry and red meats, especially beef; it is also appreciated with soft cheeses.
