Malvoisie, made from Pinot Gris left to shrivel on the vine, offers a full-bodied and rich wine, capable of aging well. Deep golden yellow, it reveals aromas of beeswax, apricot, quince, and slightly candied fruits on the nose. On the palate, the soft attack and the sugar-acidity balance create a rich, unctuous, and warm wine, perfect with foie gras, terrines, or fruit desserts.

Malvoisie Les Fleurs AOC Valais

Valaisans have given the name Malvoisie to the full-bodied wine they produce from Pinot Gris. Left to shrivel on the vine, the grapes regularly reach 120° Oechsle. This produces a sumptuous wine, suitable for long cellaring.

Tasting notes
A deep golden yellow colour. The nose offers a festival of fruity notes with aromas of beeswax, ripe apricot, quince, and slightly candied fruit. The attack is smooth, the acidity harmoniously balances the sweetness; a rich, unctuous and warming wine.

Food pairings
Pairs wonderfully with fresh foie gras and foie gras terrines, or pan-seared duck foie gras; for dessert, with strawberries, raspberries, tarts and other fragrant sweets.
